Security of Kashmiri Students in North East states of India grave issue: JKPM

Srinagar January 24: President Jammu and Kashmir People's Movement, Dr Gh Mustafa Khan expressed serious concern over the incident of beating Kashmiri students at Mohali.

According to a statement issued to Kashmir News Service (KNS), Dr Mustafa Khan said it has became routine to beat Kashmiri students in North East states of India for being Kashmiri Muslims and right wing activists are being given free hand by RSS and BJP to beat Kashmiri students, businessmen, labours and it is very unfortunate that Centre government is ignoring these incidents.

Dr Mustafa Khan said that these incidents will not be tolerated in future and centre government should ban right-wing, VHP and RSS organizations as these organizations are responsible for harassment of Kashmiri students.

Dr Khan urged LG administration to take up the matter with Punjab and Haryana government and provide full security to the minority students especially Kashmiri students in North East states of India so the students will complete their studies without any fear.(KNS
