SDM Uri conducts meetings with civil, police officials, besides representative of traders, laborers

Uri, June 06 (KNS): Sub-Divisional Magistrate Uri on Saturday conducted several meetings with police and civil officials besides trade body’s future course of action in wake of Covid-19 lockdown situation were discussed.

According to Kashmir News Service (KNS), SDM Uri Riyaz Ahmad Malik conducted meetings with representatives of trade associations, laborers besides officials of civil and police administration.

During the meetings the overall situation post Covid-19 was thoroughly discussed and also deliberation were conducted over future course of action.

The officer emphasized upon the need of masks and sanitizers in the district in wake of Covid-19 pandemic that has hit over 3000 people across Jammu and Kashmir Union Territory.

The strategy was discussed amid surge in caseloads in the adjoining areas of Sub-Division Uri.

During the discussions with several quarters of society, the process of unlocking of business activities and offices was deliberated upon and suggestion were acquired from concerned.

The meetings were attended by SDPO Uri Junaid Wali, BMO Uri Dr Ramzan, Duty Magistrate Uri Naveed Altaf, besides representatives of trade and labor associations. (KNS)
