Sopore, April 03 (KNS) : Authorities on Saturday closed the Girls Higher secondary school sopore for next seven days, after four teachers tested positive for COVID-19. 

According to a statement, of which a copy lies with Kashmir News Service (KNS) that reads in view of reported Covid-19 positivity of four teachers of Government Girls Higher Secondary School Sopore and to Prue-emt, further spread of the virus. The institution will remain closed for next seven days, with effect from 03 /04 /2021.

Official sources said that the educational institution has been closed for next 7 days after four teachers tested Covid-19 positive, added that all the primary and secondary contacts of the affected teachers have been advised to self-isolate and quarantine themselves.(KNS)
