Srinagar, Jun 22 (KNS): Salia T-20 Cricket championship got kicked off at Salia Iddgah grounds, today.

Royal Hawks sports club is organising the tournament in this area.

Remember more than fifty sports clubs are participating in the tournament.

Raju Omer said that we want to promote cricket here for the youth of Kashmir. He said platform is being provided to the rural talent so that they can excel in sports.

He has urged government to construct a separate stadium for the cricketers of the area. The inaugural match was played between Seer youngsters and Salia Amar Eleven.

People in huge numbers participated in the inaugural ceremony.

Famous commentator Khan Raja also participated in the inaugural ceremony. (KNS)
