Srinagar Feb 24 (KNS): People's Conference Chairman, Sajad Gani Lone has expressed deep shock and grief over the tragic death of noted Islamic scholar Manzoor Ahmed Kirmani, who died in a road accident in Kathua. 

In his condolence message, he prayed for peace to the departed soul.

Paying rich tributes to the deceased, Sajad Lone in a statement issued to KNS said that his loss to the society is a huge setback. 

"We pray for eternal peace to the deceased soul and strength to the family to bear this loss. We express our heartfelt condolences to the family," it reads.

The statement reads that Kirmani will be remembered for his services in the field of religion. “We also express our union with them in this difficult time and pray to Almighty to bestow highest echelons to the deceased in Jannat,” it reads. (KNS)
