Srinagar March 31:(KNS)  The Jammu and Kashmir National Conference General Secretary Ali Muhammad Sagar and Senior Leader and Former Speaker Mubarak Gul have expressed profound anguish over the incident of conflagration at Gatt Colony Noorbagh in which more than 22 households were gutted and number of people including a fire fighter received injuries.

While expressing anguish over the incident, the duo said that they received the unfortunate news with utmost grief.

"The devastating fire has completely smothered lifelong saving, valuable household items, belongings and edibles. Affected families have been left with nothing. It is therefore imperative for the affected families to come to the rescue of the affected. It is expected that the administration will lose no time to reach out to the affected with necessary relief and compensation. There is no way the affected families could manage the reconstruction of their houses on their own. The poor lot has pinned its eyes on the administration for a helping hand. I hope the administration will lend support to the affected in reconstructing their dwellings,” they said.

On the directions of Mubarak Gul, a delegation of the party's local unit functionaries led by YNC leader & Block Secretary NC Eidgah Yunis Gul visited the affected families. On the occasion he contacted administration and implored upon them to reach out to the affected with rescue, relief and compensation.

He met fire affected families and listened to their concerns and assured all possible help to them in this difficult time.(KNS)
