Emphasis for revival of 700 year old Maraz culture

Dooru, Nov 20 (KNS): Chairman Kashmir Society International, Farooq Renzushah Saturday emphasised for the revival of 700 year old Maraz culture in South kashmir.

As per a statement, issued to Kashmir News Service (KNS), he said Sufi Hanafi Heritage Culture of Madhraaz (yamraaz) Srinagar city founded by Sultan Sader-ud-Din was adopted by UNESCO which declared it as Creative City of Art.

Renzushah said when UNESCO made such announcement on the same dayone of the 700 years old chinars in Srinagar was dedicated in name of Hazrat Mahmood Gami, which indicates importance of Hazrat Mahmood Gami and his spritual verses throughout globe.

He said that the people of Dooru have not been educated about these spritual assets existing in this area including Hazrat Rasool Mir, who was also a great spritual Talib of Hazrat Mahmood Gami.

He also said the Kashmir would have surpassed China in silk art but unfortunately biased elements with hidden evil intentions to harm commerce of Kashmir brought silk at at the verge of extinction and now Orissa and Bangalore have taken benefit of this collapse.

He said new generation is now showing keen interest in revival of Hanafi Sufiyat brought to Kashmir by Hazrat Bulbulshah and Hazrat Amir Kabir.

He said that he was happy to find massive presence in the park which conveys strong message that 700 years doctrines of love are still existing.

He complimented chairman Mahmood Gami Working Committee, Ghulam Nabi Baba, publicity secretary Jamaat Aitqaad Hanafiya international, Zafar Bhatvfor organising the event in the name of Mahmood Gami.

He also thanked DC Anantnag, director Tourism, director Information and Cultural Academy of Art and Languages for their cooperation. (KNS)
