Renowed Educationist of Bandipora passes away; hundreds turn up at funeral

Gamroo (Bandipora) 15 Jan (KNS): Renowned Educationist of Bandipora who served education department for more than three decades, passed away on Friday afternoon. He was 78.

The deceased was father of Fayaz Ahmad a well known Engineer of locality.

Mohammad Subhan Dar son of Abdul Samad Dar of village Gamroo of District Bandipora served in education department as Section officer in many districts of kashmir. 

He was father of Fayaz Ahmad Dar a well know engineer of locality and uncle of Tanveer Ahmad Dar a well know Politician and bussinessman of kashmir.

Born in a middle class family of village Gamroo in 1942, Mohammad Subhan did his schooling from Bandipora and later appointed as clerk in education department.

 He served in the State Government in various capacities. 

Hundreds of people turned up at his Namaz- i -Janaza held at Eidgah Gamroo. Later he was taken to his ancestral graveyard to be laid to rest.

 His death came as a shock to his family as well as the teacher faternity for whom he had dedicated his entire life.

The deceased was a pious man of exemplary character and outstanding performance who dedicated his whole life to the benefit of mankind and tried his level best to disseminate his knowledge in the every nook and corner of his area. He lived a simple and austere life. His Contribution will be remembered forever and shall be a beacon light for society in general and the teaching community in particular for the times to come.

Meanwhile, condolences have poured in from different sections of society on the sad demise of the renowned Educationist.

Many took to social networking sites to express their grief and shock over his death. 
“I am in a state of shock and pain after i learnt about your passing away to better world. Sir, I am highly indebted to you and your selfless sacrifices. I feel devastated and are in deep shock and pain,” wrote Muneer Ahmad a well known physical education teacher of the locality (KNS).
