Ration and COVID19 Hygiene Kits distributed among 110 families at village Chani Mansar


Udhampur, 6 June (KNS): We The Human Forum for Nature and Mankind in collaboration with Sarveshwar Foods distributed dry ration and COVID19 Hygiene Kits among 110 families in distress at village Chani Mansar in Udhampur district. Among others, Lalit Sharma IFS APCCF Retd Vice Chairman "We The Human", Pooja Gupta, founder member, owning Himalayan Bio Organic Pvt Ltd having famous NIMBARK brand a sister concern of Sarveshwar Foods, S. Sukhdev Singh Executive Member, Pavitra Panth Office Secretary of We The Human, Sister Jaya Peter Secretary Jyoti Kristu Hospital Samba, Sarpanch Sreshta Devi, Poonam Devi, Chairman Water Shed Committee Purshottam were present on the occasion.
In a statement issued to KNS, Lalit Sharma Vice Chairman of the trust exhorted people to revert back to old Indian traditional systems of living, farming and adopt a model for sustainable development, otherwise Nature is going to backlash badly even humans might face sixth extinction of earth. The present COVID19 Pandemic is also result of humans interfering & over exploiting other living beings on earth. He asked the rural folk to take utmost precautions in day to day life and adopt SSMS viz., Sanitisation, Soap, Facemasks and Social Distancing. Lalit Sharma took special reference of Pooja Gupta leading woman entrepreneur owning Himalayan Bio Organic Pvt Ltd having famous NIMBARK brand, Rajan Vohra Director Edura Pharmaceuticals New Delhi, Harvinder Verma and members of the trust for coming together in this situation of crisis and reaching upto families in distress with free ration and COVID19 Hygiene Kits.
Pooja Gupta, the founder member of the trust, informed that Sarveshwar Foods have been distributing ration among poor families so as to supplement the government agencies efforts to ameliorate sufferings of the poor people. She assured to continue with the mission in future also.
S. Sukhdev Singh Executive Member of We The Human and Sister Jaya Secretary Jyoti Kristu Hospital Samba also addressed the gathering. The relief was distributed keeping in view all norms of Social Distancing. More than three hundred high quality reusable clothes facemasks alongwith Soaps, Sanitizers and ORS sachets were also distributed among the poor families of village Chani Mansar in Udhampur. (KSN)
