Says colleges not allowing students to sit in exams from 2 years

JAMMU 04 April (KNS): Apni Party Youth Wing State Vice President Raqeeq Ahmed Khan has demanded a high level probe against the nexus of Paramedical Council of J&K, Paramedical Colleges and BOPEE for playing with the future of the paramedical students in both the regions of Jammu and Kashmir.
Addressing a press conference, Raqeeq claimed that he has some documents of the prominent paramedical institutes of Jammu and Kashmir regions in which the students were not allowed to sit in the exams for two years.
“These paramedical students were charged examination fee yet their BOPEE form which has to be fulfilled by the concerned college was not submitted or fulfilled by the respective institutes. Thus, enabling them to sit in the exams,” he said.
He said that this practice has been adopted by these institutions for the last two years and many students who are pursuing their paramedical courses in these colleges were left in distress.
“These students have become mentally stressed with the irresponsible attitude which appears to be a deliberate tactic adopted to delay exams as a part of their alleged nexus with the Paramedical Council of J&K, concerned Paramedical Colleges and BOPEE,” he said.
In these circumstances, he demanded intervention of the Lt Governor Manoj Sinha so that a proper probe is ordered to punish the guilty officials and close the paramedical institution playing with the future of the students.
He assured the aggrieved paramedical students that Apni Party’s Youth Wing will pursue their case in the court as well as come on the roads so that they can get justice.
In this press conference, Raqeeq Ahmed Khan was accompanied by State Secretary, Partap Singh Jamwal, Provincial President Youth Wing Vipul Bali, Provincial Secretary, Bhanu Partap Singh Goria, Provincial Secretary Youth Wing Suhail Khajuria, Distict President Youth Wing, Shivam Choudhary, Senior Vice President District Youth Wing, Sandeep Vaid, District Organising Secretary Youth Wing, Archana Koul, Distrit Secretary Youth Wing, Ankush Dogra, Abinav Gupta and paramedical students.(KNS)
