Qaziabad Kralgund Records first Covid19, death

Langate August 06:(KNS) The death toll due to COVID-19 in the union territory of Jammu and Kashmir rose to 436.
An official told news agency KNS, A 75-year-old female from Kralgund Rawalpora, Kupwara was admitted in SMHS Hospital Srinagar. She died after of Admission tested positive for SARS CoV-2 (COVID) today.
With this fatality, the death toll due to the virus in J&K has gone up to 436. So far Kupwara district has recorded 21 total Covid19 deaths—7 Baramulla with s73, Ananthnag 28, Kulgam has reported 29, 24 from Shopian, Bandipora 16.
The Kupwara administration has put a ban on public movement in and out. The administration has once again urged the people to stay inside.
The Naib Tehsildar Kralgunnd told to KNS, that all measures as are taken for a COVID-19 patient would have to be adhered to,” he said,. “We counseled the family for the importance of conducting last rites strictly as per Covid-19 protocol. We are also requesting people to wear masks and maintain physical distance, he said.(KNS)
