Srinagar, Dec 6 (KNS): The Jammu and Kashmir School Education Department has issued the schedule for winter vacations for all government and recognized private schools in the Kashmir Division and winter zones of Jammu Division.

According to Government Order No. 521-JK (Edu) of 2024, dated December 6, 2024, the vacation period for classes up to the 5th standard will commence from December 10, 2024, and extend until February 28, 2025. For classes from 6th standard to 12th standard, vacations will begin on December 16, 2024, and end on February 28, 2025.

The order also directs the teaching staff of government high and higher secondary schools to remain available at their respective headquarters from February 10, 2025, onwards to prepare for board examinations for classes 10th, 11th, and 12th.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp ChannelTeachers are required to provide online guidance to students during the vacation period.

Strict action has been warned against heads of institutions and teaching staff for non-compliance with the directives. (KNS)
