Bandipora 23 April (KNS):Prime minister Narendra Modi will address the Panchayats on Panchayat Raj Divas to be held for the first time in Jammu & Kashmir's Palli on Sunday.

The PRIs from Kashmir valley too who are going to attend the Divas on Panchayat Raj Day expressed their happiness and hoped that with this the Panchayats will be empowered more in the future.

Rather Mehraj, the vice President of the PRI panchyat Raj movement j&k said,told KNS "we are feeling lucky that PM has chosen J&K for the event. We are all leaving to attend the meeting with PM in all the excitement and also thankful for the administration for all the arrangements made for us."

He further said that the meeting will ensure that the Panchayats are empowered further in the future. (KNS)
