Aishmuqam, Nov 27 (KNS): The president of Intizaamia committee for Sufi shrine of Aishmuqam while expressing gratitude to LG administration, district administration Anantnag and Union Minister Nirmala Sitaraman for acknowledging the services of the committee, urged and appealed to the LG administration to sanction trauma hospital for the renowned Sufi township of Aishmuqam.

In a statement, issued to Kashmir News Service (KNS), Mohammad Yaqoob Gadiyal also appealed to the LG administration to open the already sanctioned college for Aishmuqam which is unnecessarily delayed because of some court issues.

He also thanked LG Administration for taking keen interest in beautification of the shrine and its surroundings and appealed to see why the projects under PRASAd scheme have been left halfway resulting in inconvenience to the people of Aishmuqam and the devotees.

He also urged the PDD to ensure sufficient power supply for the town and the shrine in particular which has been witnessing erratic and insufficient electric supply for the last one month.

The committee also urged to restore street lights on priority because it has resulted in wild animals' free movement in and around this town. (KNS)
