Sopore, June 12: Residents of Sopore in north Kashmir’s Sopore demand Posting of Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC).
The post of ADC is lying vacant from a long time and Government doesn't bother to depute a senior office as ADC.
Several villages of Sopore including main town Sopore, Zaingeer, Khue, Payeen, Achabal and other areas suffer in absence of ADC.

Last month, the government transfered Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Sopore Ashiq Hussain Lilly and posted him as Member J&K Service Selection Board (JKSSB).

Since the transfer of Lili, the post has been lying vacant; adding woes of people .

The people, who throng the ADC office Sopore for various works, have to leave disappointed without completing their work.

The civil society in Sopore has appealed the government to look into the matter and depute a new ADC at an earliest. (KNS)
