Handwara December 29 (KNS): Amid harsh weather conditions and continuous snowfall, Jammu Kashmir Police rendered helping hand to the needy in several areas of Handwara and evacuated dozens of vehicle during inclement weather.
In several areas of Handwara comprising Chogal, Langate Qaziabad, and Handwara, Police provided helping hand to people who got stranded on roads while travelling due to continuous snowing.
Special Police Assistance Teams have also been deployed at various locations especially on Highway for providing assistance to the vehicles stuck on the slippery roads.
General public of these areas have appreciated the role of police for providing helping hand to the needy people in harsh times.(KNS)
