Anantnag December 20 (KNS): Anantnag Police inaugurated two volleyball tournaments under the banner "Shaheed Himayun Sports Tournament" as part of the Civic Action Programme.
The first tournament, exclusively for boys, was held at DPL Anantnag. The second tournament, catered for girls, took place at Ravi Ji Higher Secondary School Khanabal. These tournaments aimed to provide a platform for the youth of Anantnag District to showcase their talents and enhance their sports skills.
The initiative is in line with the vision of the Civic Action Programme-2023, which focuses on fostering community engagement and youth development. These tournaments aimed to build a spirit of healthy competition, teamwork, and sportsmanship among the participants.
