Handwara, Feb 07(KNS): Jammu and Kashmir police on Tuesday arrested a drug Peddler and recovered narcotics in Kralgund area Handwara in northern Kashmir's Kupwara district.
"Continuing its efforts against drug peddling, Handwara Police arrested one peddler and recovered narcotics in Kralgund area," the police said, adding a police party of Police Station Kralgund while on patrolling at Ganapora apprehended one person, who had attempted to avoid the police party in a suspicious manner.
" On search, around 1.5 kgs of Charas like substance was recovered from his possession," it said, adding that the person has been identified as Muzafar Ahmad Dentu S/o Abdul Aziz R/o Malbagh.
