PM gives patient hearing, but no concrete assurance made during all party meet: M Y Tarigami

Srinagar 24 June (KNS): reacting over all party meeting with PM, People's alliance for Gupkar Declaration spokesman M Y Tarigami said that PM gave patient hearing to the Issues confronting J&K after Aug 05 but the concrete assurance was not made.

 

 

Talking to Kashmir news Service Tarigami said that first time since August 05, Prime Minister of India invited leaderships of J&K and all the concerns were put forward by all Leaders.

 

He also said that the PM was apprised about the Constitutional ammendments made in history of Jammu and Kashmir on August 05 which was done without taking J&K leaders into consideration.

 

The Aug 05 decisions were not in intrest of J&K and hurted the sentiments of people and distrust increased among people.The confidence that should have been there has been greatly weakened,he said.

 

 

"We were given the opportunity to express people's aspirations and concerns including restoration of special status and statehood, he said adding that all the concerns and suggestions were taken in consideration. The PM gave patient hearing to the issues and noted down but no concrete assurance was made, he added.(KNS)
