PHDCC&I chairman Vicky Shaw meets joint director MSME

Srinagar Novumber 7 (KNS): The PHD Chamber of Commerce  & Industry conducted  a detailed meeting that was held between the PHD chamber's  Kashmir chairman A P Vicky Shaw and the Joint Director MSME DFO J&K. The meeting was aimed to explore and discuss the potential of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in developing the industries of J&K.


During the meeting, the chairman of the chamber A P Vicky Shaw  facilitated an engaging and insightful discussion with the Joint Director. The Joint Director provided deep and detailed insights into various schemes offered by the Ministry of MSME. These schemes encompassed training, capacity building, soft skills enhancement, and technology upgradation for clusters, Special Purpose Vehicles (SPVs), and industrial estates in Kashmir.

The discussion highlighted the importance of fostering a conducive environment for MSMEs to thrive in J&K. The chairman and members of PHDCCI Mr Bilal Kawoosa, Mr Sajad Shah, Mr Shabir Abdullah along with Deputy Director PHDCCI Kashmir and the Joint Director acknowledged the significance of providing necessary support and resources to enable MSMEs to grow and contribute to the state's industrial development.

The  PHD chamber expressed its commitment to collaborate with the Joint Director and the Ministry of MSME to implement these schemes effectively. By leveraging the expertise and experience of both parties, the PHD chamber aims to create a favorable ecosystem that empowers MSMEs in J&K.

The chairman of the PHDCCI stated, "We are delighted to have had the opportunity to meet with the Joint Director MSME DFO J&K. This meeting has allowed us to gain valuable insights into the various schemes offered by the Ministry of MSME. We are confident that by working together, we can provide the necessary training, capacity building, and technology upgradation to bolster the growth of MSMEs in Kashmir."

The Joint Director expressed appreciation for the chamber's proactive approach and willingness to collaborate. "We are impressed by the PHDCCI dedication to supporting MSMEs in J&K. We look forward to working closely with them to implement these schemes effectively and contribute to the overall development of the state's industries."

Both parties concluded the meeting with a shared commitment to further explore opportunities for collaboration and to promote the growth and development of MSMEs in Himachal.(KNS)
