Shopian 22 Nov (KNS):Former MLA Shopian Shiekh Mohammad Rafiq on Sunday said that they will fight DDC election to get back the special status of J&K.

Talking to reporters he said that the aim of contesting the election is figth back for the restoration of article 370 and 35A which has been abrogated by BJP government.

He also said that BJP has snatched our special status illegally and undemocratically and people of Kashmir will never accept this forceful decision.

when asked about the How important elections are?Sheikh Replied that "we were not ready to contest elections under the banner of Gupkar alliance we are in the field and BJP will see how people wants local Political parties here.

Pertinently Sheikh Mohd Rafiq as been elected Two Times for Member Legislative assembly for Shopian Constituency.

He was campaigning for the DDC polls in the area and said it won't give chance to divisive politics of BJP and said people will defeat them with ballet batons.

He has appealed the people of the area to come and cost their votes and choose their representatives (KNS)
