Karnah, 25 July 2021:(KNS) Karnah is a border area located in North Kashmir of district kupwara.Today people of Jabdi Konagabra stage a peaceful protest against the administration for not providing them basic facilities.

People suffer due to the non-construction of two kilometres of the road even in this modern age and people are demanding that the road construction work should be carried as soon as possible. Locals said that if any person in the village falls ill, we walk two kilometres to reach the road, then we have to travel ten kilometres to reach the hospital.

 The people also claims that whenever the water supply in the settlement is cut off, they have to fetch water from the hill for use and for this they have to travel several kilometres. Locals said that the village currently has two water springs but their water is wasted if the department made any arrangements to store water from the water springs. So the water problems in the village can be reduced to some extent. People say that the settlement have not installed any new electricity pole for a long time. The school children of the village are also worried. According to them, when they pass middle school and go to other high schools for admission, they also have to walk far away about 10 km.

The Peoples have Requesting the administration to pay attention to the settlement and take steps to solve the problems of the local people so that the people Don't face problems.(KNS)
