Handwara, 19 April (KNS) : Medical Superintendent Handwara Dr Nisser Ahmad appealed general public that wear face masks and maintain social distances. Advocating for the use of masks especially when people venture out of their homes.

“Wearing masks would help in preventing transmission of the infection and social distancing and hand washing should be followed properly,’’ said Dr Naseer Ahmad Medical Supertendent Handwara. 

He also said all those whose age is 45 years and above are informed that they shall vaccinate themselves against Covid-19 at the nearest Covid-19 vaccination centre.

He also said it is time we take responsibility in keeping ourselves safe. Right now, self-isolation and social distancing are the key.Social gatherings, shaking hands and physical contact we can and should avoid. Maintain at least one metre distance from others. Avoid frequent visits outside home and complete all purchases in the same visit. Wash your hands with soap and water after returning home and avoid visitors.(KNS)
