Srinagar, Mar 09 (KNS): Suspected militants on Wednesday evening shot dead a sarpanch affiliated with Peoples Democratic Party in Khonmoh area of Srinagar.
Reports reaching Kashmir News Service (KNS) said that the sarpanch identified as Sameer Ahmad was shot dead today evening.
They said that Sameer was affiliated with PDP and was a sarpanch from Khonmoh-C block of Srinagar.
Meanwhile, an official said that the area has been cordoned off to nab the attackers. (KNS)
