September Anantnag (KNS): PDP vice president and former minister A R Veeri has urged upon the administration and central government to immediately help return the body of Khusboo Manzoor to her home who died in Bangladesh.
Veeri condoled the demise of the young woman who reportedly fell off her hostel building and succumbed.
Khusboo Manzoor daughter of Manzoor Ahmad of Katoo village of Bijbehara fell off her hostel building in Bangladesh where she was studying MBBS at a medical college.
The PDP's senior leader said that it is very unfortunate and saddening that a young aspiring doctor who could have helped her society in healthcare lost her life at an budding age.
Veeri expressed his shock over her death and prayed for the peace of the bereaved family and with the departed soul.
"The External Affairs ministry should intervene and help in immediate return of the body of the young woman so that her family could perform her last religious rites," he said.(KNS)
