PC Delegation tours District Kupwara

Srinagar, Sep 29 (KNS): Peoples Conference on Wednesday toured various areas of district Kupwara to review the overall functioning of the party and interact with party functionaries and public at large.

PC leadership senior vice president Abdul Gani Vakil, Basharat Bukhari, Adv Bashir Ahmed Dar held a workers meeting in Sogam, Lolab wherein the leaders reviewed the overall functioning of the party and efforts undertaken by the party to strengthen the party and ensure that the ideological and developmental discourse of the party is spread across, especially the youth.

They also held a Municipal Committee Review at Dak Bungalow wherein the leaders and the party functionaries deliberated upon the overall functioning of the Committee and measures needed to taken to make local governance accessible for the people in the region. According to the PC spokesman, the meeting was also attended by DDC Vice Chairman Haji Farooq, DDC Kralpora Ms. Masrat Faroolq, MC Kupwara Chairman Riyaz Ahmed Mir, and several others.

The meetings deliberated in detail the ongoing political situation and crises engulfing Jammu and Kashmir on multiple fronts. The participants highlighted the crucial role to be played by the Peoples Conference and how the party is emerging as a strong voice for the masses of J&K. The PC leaders further urged the people to play a pivotal role in strengthening the party cadre on ground and make it a torchbearer for rekindling peoples hopes in the institutions of democracy and fair play. 

The PC delegation also visited and extended condolences to the family of ex Secretary Horticulture Manzoor Ahmed Lone and offered Fateh on the demise of his father. The delegation prayed for peace to the departed soul. (KNS)
