Pattan 05 July (KNS) Jammu and Kashmir police on last night saved two lives after a Poplar tree falls on national highway amid heavy winds in Pattan area of North kashmir's Baramulla, officials said here. 

As per reports reaching to Kashmir News Service (KNS) said that heavy wind storm create panic in pattan during which a poplar tree falls on road and blocked Srinagar Baramulla national highway.

Traffic was halted in which a pregnant lady got stuck who had been referred from sopore hospital to LD hospital Srinagar for emergency delivery of the baby, the officials said. 

However pattan police Subsequently reached to the spot and with their hard efforts they managed to clear the road within half an hour which allowed  the patient to move towards hospital Srinagar thus saved the two lives. 

People of the area appreciated pattan police particularly Sub inspector Aeraf for Immense efforts during midnight thus saving life of two a pregnant woman & her baby. (KNS)
