Kulgam, Mar 02 (KNS): Suspected militants on Wednesday evening shot dead a Panch in Sarndroo village of Kulgam district.
A senior police official told Kashmir News Service (KNS) that an independent Panch was shot at and injured by suspected militant in the evening.
He said that the injured Panch has been shifted to a nearby hospital for treatment, where he succumbed to his injuries.
The deceased Panch has been identified as Yaqoob Ahmad Dar of Sarndroo village of Kulgam. (KNS)
