Srinagar, May 08 (KNS): A Pakistani terrorist was among two killed in an encounter in Kulgam district on Sunday, police said here.
Kashmir zone police in a Tweet informed that both the trapped terrorists killed and incriminating materials including arms & ammunition have been recovered.
Police said that search was going on and further details will be shared accordingly.
Earlier, IGP Kashmir, Vijay Kumar said that Pakistani terrorists Haider along with a local terrorist were trapped in the encounter.
He said that Haider was active in North Kashmir for the last more than two months and was involved in several terror crimes.
Encounter had taken place in Cheyan Devsar area of Kulgam district in the wee hours today. (KNS)
