Overseeing actively region's electricity supply: LG Manoj Sinha

Srinagar, Jan 06 (KNS): Jammu and Kashmir's Lieutenant Governor, Manoj Sinha, on Saturday said that he is actively overseeing the region's daily electricity supply, assuring swift repairs with damaged transformers being addressed within 24 hours.

Speaking at a function held here in Srinagar the Lieutenant Governor asserted his hands-on approach, stating, "I personally monitor and get feedback on area-wise power supply every evening." He assured the public, saying, "There is no dearth of electricity in J&K," highlighting a swift response to issues by mentioning, "damaged transformers are being repaired within 24 hours."
 
He also assured the public that there is an ample supply of electricity in J&K.
Lauding services of outgoing SMC Commissioner, Athar Amir Khan, Sinha directly credited him for Srinagar's transformation, stating, "Under the dynamic leadership of Athar Amir, Srinagar has gone through a huge transformation." He went on to express pride in the city's progress, affirming, "Today, we can say that Srinagar has emerged one of the best cities in the country."
 
Reflecting on the significance of December 31 at Lal Chowk, Sinha indirectly conveyed his optimism, stating, "The night signifies that J&K is on the path of reviving its lost glory for which it was known for."(KNS)
