Srinagar, Feb 07 (KNS): As rescue teams search through the rubble in earthquake-hit Turkey and Syria, 5,102 people have been reported dead on Tuesday, and thousands more are injured.
Meanwhile, countries including India rushing aid to the earthquake-hit Turkey. India's first batch of relief materials also reached Turkey's Adana city today.
As per reports three devastating quakes of 7.8, 7.6 and 6.0 - hit Turkey's southern regions on Monday causing widespread destruction in Turkey and neighbouring Syria.
Meanwhile, Turkey has declared seven days of national mourning.
India has sent NDRF Search and Rescue Teams, specially trained dog squads, medical supplies, drilling machines and other equipment to Turkey.
The aid reached the country hours after PM Narendra Modi reached out to the quake-hit country. (KNS)
