Over 2000 students in Army Goodwill Schools in J&K and Ladakh get Virtual Career Guidance

Bandipora September 16:(KNS) J&K and Ladakh: Under Bharti Foundation’s Satya Bharti Quality Support Program, more than 2000 students from 26 partner Army Goodwill Schools in Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh were provided virtual career guidance to make them future ready.

 

This 12 days long initiative started on 7th September, 2021 and will continue till 18th September 2021. Expert team of mentors with multiple years of experience including Ms. Ritu Bansal, Mr. Mudasir Shah and Mr.Sahil Bhat ensured that students get the best guidance.  Each students received career guidance as per his/her interests and aptitude. 

 

On completion of these sessions, students will appear for online psychometric tests, which will also include report reading. Subsequently, a lecture series will be organized for students by internal and external resource persons.

 

Talking about the initiative Brig. Brijesh Pandey, BGS, IW, Northern Command, said, "The students are the future of our county. It is extremely important that they are given the right guidance and information. Initiatives like these helps in building awareness, character, skills and attitude which will go a long way in helping students make the right career choices".

 

Ms. Mamta Saikia, CEO, Bharti Foundation, further added, "We have been working to improve the accessibility and quality of education across India. Career guidance plays a pivotal role in helping students achieve their goals. It also gives children the ability to identify the career options that matches their caliber." (KNS)
