Srinagar June 11 (KMS): Youth Congress Leader Manpreet Singh Mani first Sikh Youth from J&K was appointed as Joint Secretary All India Youth Congress.
The appointment was endorsed by Smt.Sonia Gandhi after recommendation by AICC Joint Secy Incharge IYC Krishna Allavaru & National President IYC Srinivas BV.
Referring to the selection of Charanjit Singh Channi as the then Chief Minister of Punjab , Mani said that Rahul Gandhi is a visionary leader committed to empower minorities & youth of the country while expressing gratitude for his appointment to Smt.Sonia Gandhi President AICC,Rahul Gandhi, Krishna Allavaru AICC Joint Secy & Incharge IYC, Srinivas BV National President IYC, Rajni Patil MP Rajya Sabha & AICC Incharge J&K,G.A.Mir President JKPCC ,Neeraj Kundan President NSUI, Raman Bhalla Working President JKPCC, Surinder Singh Channi General Secretary JKPCC, Jagdev Singh National General Secretary IYC I/C JKPYC, Uday Bhanu Chib President JKPYC & Iftikhar Ahmed National Spokesperson, for his appointment as IYC Joint Secretary.
Pertinently Manpreet Singh Mani hails from Tral Assembly in Pulwama district had contested DDC election on congress ticket Aripal sub District Tral.
