Jammu, Nov 23 (KNS): An 11-year-old girl was killed and her two siblings injured after they allegedly jumped from a railway bridge here at Bajalta area of Jammu when they saw a train approaching, an official said on Wednesday.
The officials said that one namely Hadia Fatima died in the accident, while her brother Mohi-ud-Din (12) and sister Alia (6) sustained injuries. "The three siblings were on their way to school in the Bajalta area when the incident occurred", the official said.
"It is possible that the children panicked and jumped off the bridge after noticing a train approaching," the official said, adding that the injured were rushed to a hospital for treatment. (KNS).
