Handwara, 25 (KNS): A youth was killed while as another person was injured in a tragic road accident in Kulangam village of Handwara in north Kashmir.

Reports reaching to Kashmir News Service said said a speedy tripper hits motorcycle resulting the death of youth and injuries to another.

The deceased has been identified as Jahanghir Ahmad Sheikh (22) son of Abdul Ahad resident of Vodh Pora Handwara.

The injured person has been identified as Asif Ahmad Shiekh Son of Ghulam Ahmad Sheikh residents of Vodhpora Handwara.

Soon after the incident the duo was moved to DH Handwara, where doctors declared Jahanghir brought dead.

Hospital sources confirmed the death of Jahanghir Ahmad and said another injured is being treated.

Meanwhile, a police officer also confirmed the accident to KNS and said investigation in this regard taken up (KNS)
