Bandipora, May 11 (KNS): Inspector general of police Kashmir zone on Wednesday said that one terrorist has been killed in the ongoing encounter in Sirander area of Bandipora district.
Kashmir zone police, while quoting IGP Kashmir on its official Twitter handle informed that one terrorist has been killed and one AK Rifle, 03 magazines have also been recovered.
IGP said that the killed terrorist was a part of newly infiltrated group.
He said that search for other two terrorists was in progress.
Earlier, an encounter broke out in Sirander forest area of the district. (KNS)
