On the eve of Baisakhi, Mani greets the nation, Salutes hardworking Farmers

Srinagar April 13 (KNS): Indian Youth Congress all India Joint Secretary Manpreet Singh Mani greets people on the auspicious oval of Baisakhi. 
 
While Baisakhi is widely celebrated in Punjab on a grand scale, it also marks the beginning of New Year as per the Sikh calendar. Baisakhi is also widely remembered and celebrated as the day of the creation of the Khalsa Panth. Baisakhi is really a sacred and pious day for the Sikh community. The establishment of the Khalsa Panth marked the creation of an egalitarian society, while preaching the wisdom of compassion for mankind, along with communal harmony, Mani said

He also said that Baisakhi festival is associated with new aspirations and hoped that it will infuse new energy, new enthusiasm and showers of happiness  in everyone's life. 
He salutes the hardworking Farmers who feed our nation.(KNS)
