Old sculpture recovered from Budgam resident: Police

Srinagar, Aug 30 (KNS): Jammu and Kashmir Police on Monday said it recovered an old sculpture from a house of an individual in Khansahib area of Central Kashmir’s Budgam district.

An official told Kashmir News service (KNS), that the old sculpture, commonly known as (Moorti) was recovered by Budgam police from a house of an individual identified as Nisar son of Abdul Rashid Shaikh a resident of Zala-Mohalla Yari-Khah village Khansahib. 

SSP Budgam, Tahir Saleem also confirmed the development to KNS and said that Archeological Survey of India has been informed about the recovery and they will confirm us it's futher details after which further investigation will be taken forward(KNS).
