Handwara, Dec 16 (KNS): District Development Council (DDC) Mawer Khurshid Ahmad Dar on Thursday dedicates one more Ambulance (108) to New Type Primary Health Centre (NTPHC) Qalamabad Mawer.

The 108 ambulance was a long pending demand of the people of the area and today the efforts of concerned DDC, the health centre was given the ambulance.

Speaking on the occasion DDC Mawer said, the district administration has promised him the ambulance will be given to this wellness centre and today they fulfilled their promise.

Meanwhile, the locals of Mawer has expressed their gratitude to DDC Mawer for providing one more 108 ambulance and said people of this area were facing problems due to the non-availability of this ambulance.

Deputy BDC Mawer Mohammad Ashraf Mir, Deputy Sarpanch Qalamabad Mushtaq Ahmad Wani, Deputy Sarpanch Lach Ghulam Mohd Tantry and other social activities were also present during the launching ceremony of 108 ambulance. (KNS)
