Srinagar, Sep 14 (KNS) One more militant has been in an ongoing gunfight taking toll to two in Nowgam area of central Kashmir's Srinagar city on Wednesday evening.
The police said that the Identification of killed militants is being ascertained.
The Kashmir Police Zone while giving update on Encounter wrote, ” 01 more terrorist killed (Total 02). Identification being ascertained. Search going on. Further details shall follow,".
Earlier, an official said that a joint team of security forces cordoned off the area and started search operation after a specific input was generated.
"As the joint team of forces approached towards the suspected spot, the hiding militants fired upon the forces, triggering off a gunfight.(KNS)
