Srinagar, June 02 (KNS): A non-local brick kiln labourer was killed while another was injured after being shot at by militants in Chadoora area of Budgam district on Thursday late evening.
An official told Kashmir News Service (KNS), militants fired upon two non-locals, working as labourers in brick kiln in Chadoora area, resulting in injuries to both of them.
He said that soon after the incident, the duo was evacuated to a nearby hospital for treatment, where one of them succumbed to injuries.
The official said that area has been cordoned off to nab the attackers.
Earlier, a bank manager from Rajasthan was shot dead in Kulgam district today morning, barely two days after a femal Hindu teacher was killed inside a government school in the district on Tuesday.
This is the third killing in the last three days in the Kashmir Valley. (KNS)
