No place in Islam for forcible Conversion: Begum Khalida Shah.

Srinagar June 28:(KNS)  Let us assure our Sikh brethren and the entire Sikh community in the Country and the World that there is no scope for any forcible conversion in Islam or a forcible marriage within Islam itself, as such the disturbing reports being heard of forcible conversion and then forcible marriage will neither be allowed nor can anyone be allowed to break the bonhomie between the majority community of Kashmir and our revered and loved minorities .This was stated by ANC President Begum Khalida Shah in a press statement issued today at Srinagar after reports of forcible conversions have surfaced in the Media of two Sikh girls in Srinagar.

 

The ANC Chief further stated that if reports are found to be correct that the person involved in this heinous adventure has had links with the state police task force, then it is the immediate duty of the DGP Police to swing into action and book all the perpetrators involved in this case with exemplary punishment so that no one dares to take such a course in future, Begum Khalida Shah.

 

The ANC Sr.Vice President has cautioned all these persons belonging to divisive organizations to stop their nefarious activities in Kashmir and bring to a halt the game plan of dividing the already fragile society of Kashmir into further chaos. The administration should ensure that no such activity is allowed that threatens the communal harmony in Kashmir.  (KNS)
