Srinagar, Mar 26 (KNS): Authorities in Jammu and Kashmir’s Handwara said there is no shortage of fuel in the area and urged people to avoid panic buying.

Officials said all petrol pumps in the town are functioning normally and have adequate stock to meet demand.

To assess the situation, the Tehsildar and SHO of Handwara visited several fuel stations and reviewed supply conditions on the ground.

The administration appealed to residents to maintain calm and avoid unnecessary rush at petrol pumps, advising them to purchase fuel in an orderly manner.
