Srinagar, June 07 (KNS): Nageen Lake Conservation Organisation (NLCO) chairman, Manzoor Wangnoo has lauded the efforts of LC&MA for completing the much awaited construction of ramp-cum-thrash collector near Gilsar bridge at Nallah Amir Khan.
Wangnoo, in a statement issued to Kashmir News Service (KNS), said that the construction of this ramp is being seen as a big development toward continuous upkeep of Nallah Amir Khan waterway which will ultimately have a positive effect on Gilsar & Khushalsar.
The statement reads that the local dwellers have highly appreciated the same as they have been demanding to keep the spot clean which otherwise used to be full of muck and solid waste.
Wangnoo stated that due this ramp the solid waste could be easily collected round the year by heavy muck lifting vehicles and the solid waste arrested there could give a big sigh of relief as no waste would now be allowed to enter Gilsar Khushalsar.
He appreciated VC LC&MA and team for its efforts and for constructing it in such a manner. (KNS)
