In a statement issued to Kashmir Convener, Bhat said every year we reiterate our resolve to follow the divine message inherent in Eidul Azha to reaffirm our faith and belief to submit to Divine authority unconditionally. “That is how we commit ourselves to sacrifice , devotion and absolute service to mankind,” Bhat added. 

 

He said while we share joy of the occasion with those who should be feeling happier , we need to share the deprivations and sorrow of many suffering for various reasons. 

Deprived, destitute and persons or families on distress around us should not lose sight of. “That is how we will respect this occasion of religious importance,“ he affirmed.

 

He appealed the affluent class of society  to ensure timely support to those in need and appealed JK administration to provide all kinds of relief and facilitation befitting the occasion. 

 

Bhat prayed for peace in the subcontinent which is still hovering under most of misunderstanding, violence and hostility.(KNS)
