Srinagar, Apr 07 (KNS): The National Investigation Agency was carrying out searches at various locations in the Kashmir Valley on Thursday, reports said here.

 

Reports reaching Kashmir News Service (KNS) said that the NIA raids were going on in Srinagar, Budgam and other areas.

 

They said that the raids were being conducted in a case related to militant and subversive activities of few persons, in whose residences raids were going on.

 

Meanwhile, an official told KNS that raids were being conducted by the NIA with the assistance of local police and CRPF in these areas. 

 

He said that NIA raided the house of Arsalan Feroz Ahangar son of Feroz Ahmed Ahangar of Zaldagar. It is pertinent to mention that the subject is already in NIA custody since December 30, 2021

 

He said that NIA also raided the house of Ajaz Ahmad Dar and Mohammad Akbar Dar sons of Ab Samad Dar of Mustafabad Zainakote Srinagar. 

 

"NIA team raided the houses of Sameer Ahmad Ganie son of Mohammad Yaqoob of Bonapora Nowgam, Mohammad Maqbool Bhat son of Gh Mohd Bhat of Al Noor Colony Chanapora and Zahir Bashir Bhat so of Bashir Ahmad Bhat of Bank Colony Bagh-i-Mehtab," he said. (KNS)
