Srinagar, Nov 22 (KNS): The National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Monday arrested human rights activist, Khurram Parvez from his residence in Srinagar, sources said here.

Sources told Kashmir News Service (KNS) that the NIA arrested human rights activits, Khurram Parvez who is associated with JKCCS today evening.

They said that the agency has also seized his mobile, laptop and few books. “He has been arrested in case FIR No. 30/2021/NIA/DLI dated 06/11/2021 us 120B/121A 17, 18, 18B, 38,40/ UAP.” 

Early in the morning, the NIA conduct a raid at the office of JKCCS and the residence of Khurram Parvez in Srinagar.

Notably, this was the second time when NIA raided the office of JKCCS and its office bearers in the Valley. (KNS)
