Says hopeful that dialogue will lead J&K to peace, prosperity

Srinagar 23 June (KNS): Jammu and Kashmir National Conference senior leader Devander Rana on Wednesday said that the NC has never been in Jammu and Kashmir for power politics and there stand has been clear, which is growth, development and upholding the aspirations of the people of Jammu and Kashmir.

 

Talking to reporters, according to Kashmir News Service, he said that Dr Farooq Abdullah has not been only president of National Conference but he the tallest leader of Jammu and Kashmir.

 

“He has assured us that he will represent us and the people of Jammu and Kashmir with his wisdom and he alone can take this dialogue forward for the welfare of the people.” 

 

He said that as far as Jammu is concerned, and its own aspirations and desires, "We are for singular Jammu and Kashmir and I have always stood for unity of Jammu and Kashmir and equitable justice to all regions and sub-regions.”

 

He said that they will always uphold the aspirations of the people of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh.

 

Replying to a query that is there any possibility of breach in J&K without dialogue process, he said that it is an inclusive dialogue and he was hopeful that this dialogue will lead Jammu and Kashmir to peace and prosperity.(KNS)
