Kulgam, August 23(KNS): Senior National Conference leader Sakina Itoo submitted her nomination papers for the Damhal Hanjipora assembly seat in south Kashmir's Kulgam district on Friday.

Sakina Itoo is considered a strong contender for the seat, which has 99,037 registered voters after the delimitation exercise.

The Damhal Hanjipora assembly constituency will vote in the first phase of the J&K assembly elections on September 18.
