Budgam, Aug 25 (KNS): Residents of Narkara and nearby areas in Budgam are facing severe difficulties due to the poor condition of the Narkara–Gungbugh road. The damaged stretch has made daily travel tough and poses serious risks to commuters, especially students and patients.

Locals told Kashmir News Service (KNS) that many drainage manholes along the road are broken, often leading to accidents. Two-wheeler riders and pedestrians are the worst affected.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel

People also alleged that some individuals have encroached on land along the road and are raising illegal constructions, which has further worsened the situation.

The residents appealed to the concerned authorities to take immediate steps for repairing the road and removing the encroachments. They said the Narkara–Gungbugh road is the shortest link to the Budgam district headquarters and should not be left neglected.
